Adding New Ingredients

There are two ways to add ingredients:

Option 1: Add Manually

• Click "Add Ingredient" and follow the prompts.

Option 2: Upload Multiple Ingredients

1. Click "Upload Ingredients".
2. A new screen will appear.
3. Download the ingredient template (Excel file).
4. Fill out the template with the required details.
5. Upload the completed file.
6. The ingredients will be submitted for approval.

Providing Required Information for Ingredients

When adding an ingredient, you must provide one of the following:

• Pre-approved ingredients from the iKosher database.
• UKD-certified ingredients (if they are certified by another agency participating in the UKD program, their certificate will include a UKD number).
• Manually entered ingredient details, including uploaded certificates and spec files, to help the rabbi approve them efficiently.
